From humble beginnings in 1982 London Community Gospel Choir (LCGC) have gone on to become Europe’s leading Gospel brand and one of the most in demand choirs across continents of the world, creating a wall of soulful sound that is both memorable and inspirational.

LCGC regularly grace many of the UK’s greatest events such as International FA Cup Final at Wembley Stadium, Glastonbury, Live 8, and World Aids Festival and are regulars at the Royal Albert Hall. Artist recorded with include – Tom Jones, Elton John, Madonna, Paul McCartney, Annie Lennox, Rod Stewart, Sam Smith, Ellie Goulding, Jessie J, Adele, Gorillaz, Blur, Nick Jonas, One Republic, Gregory Porter, Justin Timberlake, The 1975 and the list goes on.

London Community Gospel Choir’s leader Bazil Meade MBE, said the vision continues to be a blending together of two passions, music and faith. It’s this unique combination communicated through music that has touched multiple hundreds of thousands of fans hearts so far.

The record-breaking beatboxer and collaborator with Ed Sheeran, Bjork and Damon Albarn turns electronic singer-songwriter on his album tour, blending his innovative live-looping and breathtaking beatboxing with epic synths, crushingly honest lyrics and lush electronic layers. The Chapel FM Jazz Collective has built a reputation as a vibrant and dynamic band that plays a fantastically diverse range of music to please both the head and the heart. This is a musical collective with big ideas and a bigger sound!

Coming after a series of gigs across the city and beyond—Seven Arts, The Wardrobe, The Venue, Millennium Square, Dakota Deluxe, this performance will feature guest vocalists from the Rodillian Academy.

Educational Projects and Community Artists

This festival will see the culmination of many projects being run by the Rodillian Multi-Academy Trust including a huge choir of over 300 young people performing alongside the London Community Gospel Choir. The line-up on the main stage will also include youth bands, choirs, percussion ensembles, electronic musicians and beatboxers. Site decor and sculptures for a procession will be provided by the Rodillian Academy Art Department.
